What are the advantages ofextending ladder?
Extending ladders are typically composed of 3-6 nested ladder units. Each unit is connected by a sliding rail and locking mechanism, allowing for extension, locking, and retraction. During extension, the user lifts the top of the ladder to the preset position, at which point a built-in spring lock automatically pops out and engages with the positioning hole in the sliding rail, securing the ladder and ensuring its overall rigidity. During retraction, an unlocking button on the side of the ladder is pressed; pressing it releases the spring lock, and the ladder retracts downwards in a compact manner, saving space when folded. The extension and retraction can be performed by a single person. In straight ladder mode, support is achieved through friction between the bottom of the ladder and the ground, while the top maintains balance through contact with a support surface such as a wall or railing. In A-frame ladder mode, stability is achieved through the triangular structure of the two sides of the ladder, requiring no additional support.
