External Lock Insulated Telescopic Rod

Preparation before use: Check the state of the rod body, confirm that the rod body has no cracks, deformation, and no damage to the buckle. According to the operation requirements, check the extension length. If the length is insufficient, the telescopic rod needs to be replaced. If it needs to be used with other equipment, tighten the buckle into the rod head to ensure that it is not loose;
Operation process: Hold the bottom section handle, pull out each section in turn, lock the buckle corresponding to each section, shake the rod body gently, confirm that there is no sliding and no abnormal sound, adjust the angle of the rod head, and lock it after adjustment to start the operation;
Retract the rod body: When the operation is completed, open the buckle, retract the rod head, and then lock the buckle.

The external lock insulated telescopic rod should be properly maintained and cared for after use to ensure normal secondary use. It is usually stored upright to avoid deformation by other heavy objects.

When using an external lock insulated telescopic rod, pay attention to the following points:

Insulation safety: When performing electrical work, you must wear insulating gloves, and the rod must not be exposed to water or oil. It is strictly forbidden to use it in thunderstorms or in environments where the rated voltage is exceeded;

Prevent accidental retraction: Check whether the buckle is locked at any time to prevent accidental retraction, especially when working at high altitudes;

Force direction: The rod has strong tensile strength but poor bending resistance. Try to apply force along the axial direction of the rod to avoid lateral prying;

Test the external locking device: especially when it is used frequently, be sure to pay attention to whether the external locking buckle is loose. If the buckle is found to be worn, deformed, or ineffective, it must be replaced in time to ensure safe construction;

Safe construction distance: When extending or retracting, be sure to reserve sufficient safety margin to avoid staying or adjusting the length within the safe distance for a long time. 

When using an external lock insulated telescopic rod for the first time, be sure to read the instructions, and electrical work must be performed by certified personnel! Correct use can not only achieve good results, but also extend the service life.

If insulation failure occurs while using an externally lock insulated telescopic rod, be sure to stop operating immediately and evacuate to a safe area. First, contact the power department to cut off the power supply, and then contact the telescopic rod manufacturer for repairs. Do not disassemble or modify the rod by yourself during this process.

If working in a high-pressure environment, at least two people are required to cooperate with the operation, one to operate and one to monitor. If any special situation occurs, it must be handled immediately to ensure the safety of the construction workers.During the operation, no one should leave their post without authorization or allow unrelated personnel to enter the warning area.
